MAUK Chairperson Sreejith Sreedharan Selected as Member of Lok Kerala Sabha

MAUK is proud to announce that Sreejith Sreedharan, chairperson of MAUK, has been selected as a Member of Lok Kerala Sabha (LKS) representing UK Malayalees.

This prestigious selection recognises nearly four decades of exceptional service to the Malayalee community across the UK, delivered through visionary leadership, unwavering commitment and sustained action at MAUK. Over this period, he has been instrumental in shaping MAUK into a nationally recognised organisation that champions cultural identity, community cohesion and collective advancement. His contributions have consistently strengthened community welfare, safeguarded cultural heritage and created inclusive support systems for migrants, families and elders, ensuring that the voices and aspirations of Malayalees nationwide are represented, heard and respected.

About Lok Kerala Sabha (LKS)

Lok Kerala Sabha is a global platform established by the Government of Kerala to engage with the Malayalee diaspora worldwide. Its objective is to strengthen ties between Kerala and Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs) facilitate dialogue on diaspora concerns and contribute to Kerala’s social, cultural and economic development through collective wisdom and representation.
