MAUK Elders Services: Tulip Fest Outing

On a beautiful and sunny Sunday, 04 May 2025, some of the members of MAUK Elders Services enjoyed a delightful outing to the Tulip Fest in Sussex. This excursion provided an excellent opportunity for our service users to experience the vibrant colours and fragrances of the tulips, greatly uplifting their mood and contributing positively to their mental well-being.

The outing was filled with joy and camaraderie. Participants shared laughter and created lasting memories against the stunning backdrop of blooming flowers. Feedback indicated that this experience was enjoyable and revitalising for everyone involved.

We anticipate more opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment for our members, with our next outing planned for June 2025.

We would like to sincerely thank the Bonny Downs Community Association for their generous support in providing the minibus for our trip. Their assistance made this outing possible, and we are grateful for their continued partnership. Special thanks to our volunteers Anitha Sreekumar and Prasanna Vinayakaran for providing the delicious, home-cooked snacks for the trip.

The feedback we received from participants highlighted the significance of such activities in enhancing the quality of life for our elders. We look forward to more enriching experiences in the future.
